Annual Dynamic Engineers Lecture Series

The Fall of 2007 witnessed the introduction of the NSBE-UI Annual Dynamic Engineers Lecture Series. The Lecture Series is a yearly event organized by NSBE-UI members to feature a prominent figure in the field of engineering and sciences who will visit the University of Idaho and speak on a central theme.  The vision of the NSBE-UI Lecture Series is to develop contacts between the NSBE-UI extended community and current world leaders.  NSBE-UI’s goal is two-fold: to assist in attracting diverse cultures to the university, and to introduce the University of Idaho’s academics to influential people around the world. More...

NSBE  Regional and National Conferences

The Regional Convention provides members with the opportunity to participate in comprehensive workshops focusing on personal, professional, and cultural awareness. Corporate representatives from companies nationwide, recruiters, graduate school representatives, students from other colleges participate in the career fair promoting the networking of future scientists and engineers. Our hope is that departments can support their students within the organization to attend events of this importance as it will not only help the students in preparation for life after college but it will also help to publicize the University of Idaho.   More...
